Technical Training Institute LLC (TTI) was established as the Training and Development arm of Special Technical Services LLC (STS) in 1992 to support the development of Omani Nationals through government-sponsored vocational training programs for tradesman positions within the Oil & Gas industry.
Over the years, TTI has evolved in keeping with demands of the Oil and Gas and Construction. Initially based in Ghala delivering training and certification for Technicians, Welders and Pipe Fitter/Fabricators, TTI forecasted a need for improving working at height standards and moved into the providing training and certification in Scaffolding. This move resulted in setting a training Institute in Nizwa based out of the STS Workshop.
TTI was the first training institution offering International Certifications under CITB. Delivering quality training and the resulting increase in demand, TTI branched out to establish its own Training footprint with the construction of its own bespoke and state of the art Training Centre within the Nizwa Industrial Estate. Ably supported by a highly experienced and certified Omani Workforce, TTI continues to deliver quality training and certification in all levels of Scaffolding Training under the International CISRS.
It is TTI’s goal to continue contributing to not only ensuring best practice in Working at Height for all companies and employees but the commitment to ICV objectives by offering funded and non-funded training to Omani Nationals for all interested companies operating in the oil and gas sector through the National Objective Program.
